Alright I can't believe how terrible I have been with keeping up my blog since last semester!!! :( Well I guess I'll just give an overview of the past several months and then post a slideshow up of memories from my Freshman year as a Cougar!! Sound good? Great!

The best part of my experience at BYU would have to be all my friends. They are seriously some of the most amazing people ever and it was so so hard telling them goodbye! I have learned so much from them whether by example or our "philosophical discussions" or just by helping each other out with all our issues. It hasn't been easy but these people have really taken care of me and we have become a family away from our family and really love being there for each other and sharing the joys and griefs of all our lives! Wow, this blog is starting to sound like Michelle! :) Hahaha, But anyways, to continue being cheesy, I'm gonna talk more about the goodbyes.

So for those of you who know me from back home, I am a HUGE crybaby. but somehow, up here I have been able to restrain myself and haven't cried in front of people more than once or twice. And they were just my girlfriends. So I figured I'd be ok saying goodbye to everyone. And I was until it was my turn to leave the group. We spent the whole day running errands but still having a blast and we did a few other crazy things and it was great! I lost my voice from rockin out to Glee with Ryan! :) But while all this was going on, it hit me. Michelle I would see soon. Tara, Shelby, Olivia, and Becca would be back at the Y with me next Fall. But this could very well be the last time I hang out with my guy friends for more than TWO YEARS. And I know I'll see them after their missions, but what if things are different and I've made new friends and they make their own or what if I'm... i hate to say it......married?!?!?! So this whole time I was just sad. Sad sad sad! Even though we were having so much fun! It was strange. And then once when we got to my aunt's house, I lost it. I hugged Michelle and Dylan got jealous (hee hee) and then that stinker Ryan wouldn't let go of me and kept talking bout all our good times he would miss and i just couldn't hold it in any longer. Poor Ryan probably got tear stains all over his shirt! Sorry! But it was just so sad.

So to all you guys, especially you Ryan, I just want to say, I'll miss you to death! But you have made an impact in my life and I will absolutely never forget you!!!! I am so proud of you all for being such amazing examples to me and teaching me so much!! I'm so grateful for your friendship and for being there for me to count on! I know that no matter when I see you again, we'll always have freshman year to remember! And I promise I'll write!

Ok, this is definitely not where I thought I was going with this. Back to freshman experiences:

I loved loved LOVED being able to go to the temple so much with my friends this year! It was so wonderful to be able to feel the spirit of the temple on a regular bases and I know it helped us all become stronger friends! So many blessings and revelations have been given thanks to those trips!

I also loved learning! Being in such an academic environment was so great! I was enlightened on so many different topics and definitely had some humble pie being surrounded by so many absolutely brilliant people!! My studies were definitely not always perfect, but I learned a lot about how to improve and how important motivation is!

If you couldn't tell earlier, I have had a lot of really spiritual experiences as well! I had the opportunity to hear from many leaders of our church such as, President Monson, Sister Julie B. Beck, and Sherri Dew. I am so grateful for all the wisdom and advice they passed on to us. I also learned so much from my friends and ward members! They are all so strong and have been through so many different trials and experiences in life. They are wonderful and my testimony has been exponentially strengthened thanks to them!

Alright, now on to the fun stuff! We have had SO SO SO many adventures this year!!! From ice blocking, to 15 hour dates, girls' nights, formal dances, partay dances, RHA activities, parks built for tiny children, hiking, hospital visits (not as fun as all the other stuff...) dating, scavenger hunts, sleeping in the quad, cannon meals (doesn't sound like much, but oh. we had adventures in there!), movies in the tenner, roundabouts, dollar theaters, shopping, jamba juice, walmart trips where we almost died, "studying" in the sun, freezing in the snow, sledding, my first snowball fight, creamery runs, and late night craziness! The list just goes on and on! But so many jokes and memories have come out of these adventures, I can't even remember them all! But I loved every second of it!!

Alright, that just about wraps up freshman year! It was definitely a blast! I just have a summer of work and family and then back to Helaman Halls to be an RA (resident assistant) to help a bunch of girls have just as great a freshman year as I did!!!

FUNNEST WEEKEND EVER!!!!

So I just had a totally epic weekend!!! On Friday I went on my first date here that I was not the planner and asker! It was a blast! We ate at Legend's Grill, went to a cornmaze, haunted and haunted, watched two movies, went to IHOP, watched another movie till the temple opened and then took a little nap before we actually went down to do baptisms.... YAY 15 HOUR DATES!!!!

For those of you who haven't seen my facebook lately, today was my very own mother's birthday!!!!! i just want to tell her AGAIN how amazing she really is! I thought I appreciated her before I moved away! She always has done so much for me and has been such a loving and wonderful influence in my life. She is my best friend and I don't know where I would be without her! She always knows how to comfort me (a can of chocolate frosting always does the trick!) and help me through my trials and issues. When I'm scared all I want is my mom by my side. Like today i basically passed out while giving blood and all I could think about was how much I wished my mom was there to hold my hand! She is my own personal hero and she has no idea how much her strength has set an incredible example for me. I know that I can trust her with anything and that I can rely on her advice and help in anything in her life! I know that I am so proud of her for the challenges that she has overcome and the testimony she has gained!! I love you so so much Momma and don't you ever forget it!! have an absolutely amazing and fantastic birthday and week!!! Lots of hugs and kisses!

Yet Another Update!

So Friday was definitely an adventure!! First I went to the Bean Life Science Museum with my friend Matt and say a little animal show! Then I played volleyball with some more friends and watched Mean Girls in the Cannon and got ice cream!! :) Here's some pics from the museum!!

My Owie Toe!

Here's the story: I was walking home from devotional last week and stubbed my toe on my roommate's shoe and it ripped the toenail pretty far off my toe.. but the nail was still intact ant attached kinda on the sides. Luckily Sarah was a lifesaver with her first aid kit! And then I stubbed it on a table that day and hit it with a volleyball and the nail finally broke in half so I clipped it and this is what it looked like:

BYU FOOTBALL!!!!!!!
So last weekend was the very first BYU Football game and it was against the nations #3 team the Oaklahoma Sooners (Booooo!!) and we dominated them 14-13!! Woot Woot!! We watched the game in a giant ballroom on a huge screen and I was in the 4th row! Yeah!

Every Sunday we meet up for ward devotional and a talent and ward prayer (which is really cute cuz we all kneel together). So here was our first night's talent!

So it hasn't been too long since I blogged, but I already have tons of stuff to talk about!! So here it goes!!!

Every Sunday and Wednesday here at BYU in Helamen Halls are visiting hours where girls are allowed in the guys halls and vice versa. So the guys from our ward who live in Merril Hall decided to throw a dance party in their hall. At first I think it was just supposed to be the ward, but oh how the word spread!! It was so packed in there!!!

Everybody was just bouncing around cuz there wasn't much room for anything else! Although one guy attempted crowd surfing!!

Just thought I'd take a few minutes to talk about my classes!!! SO far so good!! My American Heritage professor reminds me of Mr. Sorensen from High School! But there really isn't as much writing as everyone says and the reading can be interesting so long as you are not half asleep!! My Biology Teacher is a nutcase!! But in a crazy fun way! He is crazy about star wars and calls us his paduans! And we sang The Circle of Life!! The work seems pretty interesting and kinda low key too! University 101 will be really fun and helpful! I'll make lots of friends learn about different majors and time and stress management! I am way STOKED for my humanities class!!!!!! We study tons of music, art, and literature from the classical, Medieval, and Renaissance time Eras.... And then write about them!!!!! How amazing is that?!?! (No it really isn't sarcasm!) My Aerobics class doesn't start till October 21st because it is a 2nd block class... which I didn't know till Monday.. But other than that, classes are great!!! The dorms are boring with everyone in classes but that's ok! I'm so excited to leeeaaarrrrnnn!!!!! Wooo!!

Yesterday was a dreadful day....Our Nikki Chicken left us for Northern University! I guess I shouldn't be talking because I'll be leaving soon too... But I am sad that we are all finally going our separate ways for a while. So before I start talking about how wonderful Nikki is and how much I love her, I thought we would take a stroll down memory lane!!

And now to wrap it all up I just want to tell Nikki what an amazing friend and person she is! I'm so grateful that I have been able to get to know her so well over the past year or so. She is such a great example to me! She is so smart and can do ANYTHING she puts her mind to! I'm so proud of all she has accomplished! She has such a kind heart and will do all she can to help out a friend! She has always been there for me! We've laughed and cried...and laughed some more and gave each other and even just sat there bored together! But it didn't really matter what we were doing, cuz nikki is just awesome without even trying! We've been through some rough times this year, but we knew that we could always count on each other to encourage us and sympathize with us! And nikki is always so honest! No beating around the bush with her! ;) I will always miss all our conversations about life and the future and dumb boys and all the things we can't stand! So thank goodness for technology so I can text her and call her (after 9) and IM her and all that jazz all I want! I'm so excited for all the exciting things ahead of her! She will do so great all on her own and independent! I love you so so much and I know we will always stay close! Have fun as a lumberjack!!!!! ;-D

Fun Weekend!!

So to start off....Friday Night I had an Awesome sleepover with my two best friends Kylee and Nikki!!! We were WILD!!!! Hahaha! We turned my Ihome up as loud as it could go and each found a "microphone" to use and screamed our lungs out to all our favorite party songs on Kelsey's Ipod while jumping on my bed and dancing all over my room! I am still shocked that my parents or brothers didn't come yell at us to shut up!! So we were finally just to tired to party anymore so we went to fry's where Kylee was nice enough to purchase the following necessary items for a true "Kylee-Nikki-Kazhia" party: Soda, 2 ice cream cartons, cookies, Hostess cupcakes, and a frozen pizza! Of course we didn't quite eat all of it but... we ate a lot. Then when we were done pigging out, we watched Freedom Writers which is an amazing movie and finally went to bed at 2 or 3 Am. =D

Saturday I went and saw Harry Potter with my family, that was fun! And that night we went with a bunch of friends to some crazy park with a giant hill for ice blocking!!!! It was a blast! Here are some pictures!!

So then Sunday I had a meeting for my new calling as a Branch Missionary and then went to relief society and Sunday school and to Rylan's farewell! He gave a really good talk and seemed really excited to be off!! We'll miss him lots but I'm sure he'll do awesome on his mission!

Alright, I know Kylee totally did a post on this when she first saw it, but Me and Nikki went to the dollar theatre to finally see it and I realize that I love Zaac Efron and thet's that! Hahahahaha!!! The movie was totally hilarious and we were cracking up like crazy and some parts were so awkward!!! Like his daughter got a crush on him and was trying to make a move. Aaaaahhhh!!! Weird!! But it was all resolved in the end and was all tender and we all know Kazhia is a sucker for cheesy tender movies! Especially with a gorgeous boy in it! Meeting him is my new life goal. Tonight I went to my second Family Home Evening in my new Singles Branch for the Summer. So far so good! Last week we had a pizza dinner and played team Balderdash! Super fun!! We met this HILARIOUS guy named Tommy... but he's like 28 so.. Awkward. Haha! This week we actually got put into families and got to know everyone's names! It was fun and everyone is really nice even though it is a preety small branch. After an INCREDIBLY short lesson, we all got back together and played 4 or 5 rounds of Sardines, which is like backwards hide and seek. SSOOOOOO fun!! Me and Kylee and Stephanie found the hiders pretty quick, except for the last one who SAID he was behind one of the walls in the parking lot where all the AC stuff is in the parking lots, But we looked back there very thoroughly and he was NOT there!! He was moving. He said we looked right at him. Liar. And this other kid was behind bushes and we got there like second and everybody started coming and we were like, Is Mark even back here??? We hadn't actually seen him!! And so we all started to get up cuz we thought he wasn't there but he was and laughing at us the whole time. Haha, So we blew our cover. But it was really fun and I can't wait till next week!!! Oh, Ps- I had to lead the opening song and it was weird. haha! Pss- I just wish Nikki could come with us... =(

The past week feels like a GIANT blur to me cuz I have no idea what day it ever is anymore.. But I'll tell you what has been going on even though I might get the day wrong... Haha! So at one point I went to Nikki's and played Goof Troop on Nikki's Supernintendo!! It was fun!! We ended up finding cheat codes online! Hahaha!! I pumped gas for the first time, haha, I know its sooo funny. And painted nails with Ky and Chickie. On Friday, I think, Me and Kylee hung out with Allie Bean and watched Sydney White And Nikki was going to come but got lost. But that movie is HILARIOUS!!!!! I think it is going to become my version of "Just Friends," A movie to cheer me up! HA! I love it!! Then Saturday, We went to a baptism in the morning and to a YSA activity that turned out LAME even though Kylee won over all the guys with her "jump-rope-with-the-wiggly-knee" dance move!!! HA! Not. So we went to Sonic with Allie and Stephanie and Bryan Salley and watched Sydney White AGAIN!!! I love it!! And of course we had Fresa!! So those are all my super crazy fun wild times with all my beautiful friends that I LOVE!!!!! WOOOOO!!!!!!!

Boring Summer

This week has been super boring! I ALMOST wish I could go back to school! Monday, the boys (including Dad) went to scout camp! Woo! Party party!! It was very nice and quiet all week. But unfortunately, like most summers, I have spent most of it sitting at home bored. I need to get a job REALLY bad!! I even sunk so low as to apply to Walmart! I don't even care anymore, I just need something to do! I also set up a checking and savings account this week. Finally.. And I got my debit card in the mail today!! Its all gold and glittery!! Haha, So the fun points of this week were, Sleepover with Kylee, Sleepover with Kylee And Nikki (for the most part fun), Movie nights with my BFFs (Kylee and Nikki), and Curt's Party last night. Soooo... yeah. OH!!! And I didn't pass out on Thursday like I thought I would!! That is a BIG accomplishment for me! So that has been my week! I'll post some pics of our fun sleepover later.

My VERY Last Year!

Saturday I just got back from Camp Shadow Pines! I love that place! I had lots and lots of fun crazy adventures! The theme was " Treasure Island, An Eternal Adventure." Each ward was assigned a Value and a gem of that values color. We were the Blue Sapphires of Divine Nature! I loved it! Some of our cheers were "Stayin Divine, Stayin Divine." haha, and " I'm a little Sapphire bright and blue, we've got Divine Nature, How bout you?" haha, We had fun with that. On Bishop's Night, we were on a "Cruise" (in the gym) when a storm hit and we had to evacuate onto "Destiny Island." Each ward had to find a different "Treasure Tool" to repair the boat. We had to find scriptures. The whole thing was a little cheesy, But very cool. We went to different people like Esther, Daniel, and Joseph Smith who represented treasures like Faith, Word of Wisdom, and Prayer. From each of them we got a little flag to tie to a rope our "guide" (bishop) had. Our last one was Mormon who represented scriptures and he came back to the "ship" with us. But, the girls had to be blindfolded because sometimes in life, we are blinded or alone amid our trials. And they all had to hold tight to the rope with all there treasures on it. And when we got back to the ship our "captain (Bro Ray) told us there was one last treasure we would need to get through the storm and when er walked in there was a giant picture of the Savior projected on the wall. It was really special to hear about all the testimonies that were strengthened by that. but anyway, I just thought I would share a spirtual experience before I shared all our fun goofy pictures! Here they are!!

The day before real camp, I went with the 4th years on their tent over nighter. This year, I made friends with our only 4th year, Valerie Tiffany. She is super fun and hillarious! She nicknamed me nun because I wrote Sister Kazhia on my name tag instead of Sister Mellor! Hahaha!

Every year at the over nighter, we have a zipline. This was my 4th time there, and that thing NEVER gets old!! Haha!

We also get to shoot potato guns every year! This one shoots potatoes farther than a football field! I'm basically an expert.

Me and Val spent our free time in the YCL tent with Andrea, Tobie, and Kelsey. Valerie didn't really know them, but she got to know them and had a LOT of fun!! Especially messing around with my "Fib Finder!"

They love us at Camp Shadow Pines! Veterans like me know most of the Staff's names! V-man is the bomb!

This was my tribute to Kylee who I missed very much!! Camp just wasn't the same without her! JOY!!

Ok, So last night, I decided that my journal is one of my best friends!! Icouldn't sleep for anything because of a confusing stupid boy! Which is totally dumb and ridiculous, but I'm a girl, what can I say?? So My mind had been going crazy since graduation night and I have probably been driving everyone crazy! So I finally decided to write everything down in my journal. I figured I haven't written in a long long while and I couldn't sleep anyway, so I might as well. So I wrote out the whole story with WAY too many details, even my BEST girlfriends would probably fall asleep reading it, haha! But I finally put down my pen and laid down and fell asleep like a baby!! And I woke up feeling fresh and carefree about the whole thing! Like I said, I LOVE MY JOURNAL!! (I picked this pic cuz I love Twilight too, so I put em both together! haha)

So as we all know, I am going to BYU in the Fall. I already picked out my dorm and found out who my roommate is!! I got her email and we have been writing each other A LOT! I havn't met her yet, But I can already tell that I'm gonna love her! (But not as much as you Kylee, of course.) Her name is Noelle Nielsen and lives in Oregon City. She is the youngest of ELEVEN KIDS!!!!!! =00000000 Yeah, that is crazy! lol. Her favorite color is turqouise and she loves to read and watch/quote movies and goof around!! I am sure we are going to have TONS of fun together! We both can't wait to date lots o boys, but do NOT want to get involved yet. We both love to talk, based on our ridiculously long emails that are steadily getting longer! I am so excited to finally meet her! These are a few of her Senior Pictures that she sent me!

The past couple days have been absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I GRADUATED!!!! I stayed out till 3:45 in the morning, I hung out with my beautiful girlfriends that I LOVE to death, I saw a movie, I finished Personal Progress, and of course.... NEVER HAVE TO GO TO A HIGH SCHOOL CLASS AGAIN!!!!!!! But my words are not adequate to express my feelings, So her is tons of pictures of my last day of school and GRADUATION!!!! WOO! '09!!!!

Kylee and I went to seminary for our last day of school to visit our wonderful seminary teacher, Brother Goss!!! Isn't he silly?! haha, Gotta love him.

Me and Kylee were SOOOOO excited to graduate!! We were jumping for joy!! HA! It took FOREVER to get them to look this cool.

Oh my goodness! I feel like family history has been my life lately!!! I had just one more project to do and decided for some reason to do genealogy cuz I'm dumb! I took forever to get started cuz I didn't know how to start! ...Like as in I just started Saturday and I graduate TOMORROW!!! (WOO!) I have to get all ten hours in by then! I have 3 more to go and a half day tomorrow, so hopefully I'll pull it off!! I have been working on it like crazy, and its kinda cool, but it gets so so very frustrating when you get stuck on somebody and its like you are abandoning a person when you have to just move on to a different line! I do not like it much. But I have found lots of new people and some mess ups to fix, so at least I am accomplishing something! But can we say procrastinator?? PROCRASTINATOR!!!!

Soooo.... I did get lots of tests done when I went to the hospital including: blood work, a CAT scan, an EKG and even a urine test. I went to the doctor today and got a referral to a neurologist and the doctor says I might get "abdominal migraines." But we won't know anything till I go see the specialist. As far as our AC goes, it was something minor and got fixed real quick. Now my house is quite comfy.Also, this week is a super busy one! Orchestra concert, two garaduations for Dad, including the one that Obama is speaking at, my orchestra banquet, my Daddy's grad party, caps and gowns, yearbooks, and my scholarship assembly whew! I'll have to let you all know how that goes. Also, while I'm rambling, who is Jordan Jensen who is following this blog? Do I know you?!haha, until next time!

Dear Mom,

Happy Mother's Day! You are such a great mom! I know we said it already today, but you are truly amazing. You have helped form me into the almost grown woman I am today. From your advice, guidance, example, and sense of humour, I have developed my own personality. I am who I am because of YOU! If it weren't for you, I don't know who I would be or where I would be headed. You are MY HERO!

You do SO so much for us all the time and we hardly ever recognize it. you cook for us everyday, you keep the house clean, you drive us all over the place, You buy things we need for us, you pay for all of our school stuff, you teach us, you support us, you discipline us, and, most importantly, you LOVE us!

Mom, I know that sometimes you feel inadequate. But I want you to always remember that you are amazing at being our mom! You know us better than anyone else! You may not be perfect, but that is what endears us to you so much! We love you BECAUSE you are humble enough to acknowledge your faults and try to learn and grow from those experiences. You think you went wrong somewhere but look at your four children and know that you are doing somethin right! I love you so much and I owe everything to you! Our AC is broken!!!!!! :( It is awful, We were just trying to make a nice breakfast in bed for Mom and it was just overwhelmingly warm over that waffle iron and the sausage pan. Not fun! So That is the excitement at our house. If we don't fix it today or tomorrow, I'll probably be spending most of my time at kylee's. Even though she doesn't know it yet! =)

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!?!?!

Other than the obvious, something is wrong with me. Thursday in 6th hour I just PASSED OUT for the third time this year!! What the heck?! the first time was early in the morning, the second time was a month later in my 6th hour (talk about embarrassing!) and the third time was a month after the second almost exactly. Also in my 6th hour...again. But the 1st two times it was because of Really super bad stomach pains. I went to the ER all three times, But they can't find ANYTHING wrong with me!!! I have to set up an appointment with a neurologist. :/ And dad thinks me and my mom should go together to get a group discount since she has to go to. He thinks he's real funny. But it was really weird cuz this time I just randomly got dizzy, and blacked out. way random! So we don't know what my problem is but we're open to suggestions! Not by you though Kylee. =P

This is the AMAZING David Archuleta gettin his groove on at his concert that WE went to!! It was pretty much THE coolest thing in the world. I wish I could go back and live it again! It was that awesome. And yes, he IS way cuter in person. =D

Soooo... This was definitely forever ago, but one of the most exciting things that ever happened to me in my life. Plus, I really wanted a picture of this cute boy on my blog!!! So in March we (Jessica, Kylee, Kelsey, and I) actually MET David Archuleta and a fireside we heard about where he spoke and sang, which was absolutely amazing! We gave him a hug and sang one of his songs froom his new album to him and he totally sang along with us and I love him! And then we went to his concert the next day and got almost to the very front and he totally waved at me one time when I was singing along with him!!! Not even joking!It was super amazing AND he is like two inches taller than me so I as NOT too tall for him! But anyway, that's how I met my future husband! hahaha! I wish!!!

So I have finally figured out all this blogging stuff! Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up! So I am just a crazy girl counting down the days till graduation! I can't wait to get out of that place and get away from all the drama! This summer I plan on working (once I find a job) and spending as much time with my friends and family as I can! I'll miss them all when I go away to BYU in the fall. Especially my BFF Kylee, who hates me for it =(
